Private soy candle class
Gather your people for a fragrant afternoon. You make one 300g and one 100g candle, and learn how to keep making them at home.
Small soy candle and sewing workshops run by Josie out of her studio off Gaggin Way. Six to ten people, BYO welcome, and you take everything you make home with you.
Every class covers your materials, your vessels and over thirty fragrances to choose from.

Two hours on soy and coconut wax. You take home a 300ml candle in glass and a 100ml travel tin. Bring snacks, we pour the wine.
Thread the machine, load the bobbin, learn the basic stitches and how to read a pattern. Or bring something that needs altering.
Ring or email Josie and name a day that suits your group. Times are flexible, weekends included.
Over thirty scents on the bench. Smell your way through them and pick the one you want to live with.
Your candles leave with you the same day, wicked, labelled and ready to burn.
Every vessel is different, from op-shop ceramics to painted glass.
Drop off three or more empties and Josie refills them with soy wax, a fresh wick and your choice of fragrance. A 300ml jar comes back for $18.
Tell her what you are after and roughly how many of you there are. She will come back with dates that work, usually within a day.
